Balderson Cheese

At the aromatic centre of Balderson is craftsmanship. An unwavering dedication that can be seen and tasted in everything the brand makes. Looking to have their website be an interactive testament of their philosophy, we began to reenvision the static experience into one as flavourful as their product portfolio.

Integrating responsive design with updated product photography, we also evolved elements of the brand, including fonts, textures and shapes, to establish a more modern form of Balderson that even the most discerning palette would enjoy. As a site that exists purely to inspire Epicureans and every day cheese enthusiasts, we placed an emphasis on flavour profiles and pairings, with a custom rollover and scroll feature that highlights how best to enjoy Balderson (hint: with lots of fruits and breads). We also developed key graphics and illustrations to better demonstrate tips and techniques, and a more fluid and functionally enjoyable experience regardless of the preferred medium.
